WELCOME

To The Royal Canadian Legion, Sooke Branch #54
Formed in 1926, the Sooke Legion has a long and successful history of supporting veterans and the surrounding communities of Sooke.  In 2001 we celebrated our 75th year of service to the community.
The Mission of The Royal Canadian Legion
  1. We provide representation, advocacy and financial assistance to serving and retired Veterans and their families, free of charge, Legion member or not.

  2. We honour the men and women who put their lives on the line for their country and work to ensure Canada never forgets.

  3. Legion members contribute countless volunteer hours, and fundraise millions of dollars each year for their communities.
Message from the President:  Jan Watson
Welcome to the Royal Canadian Legion,
Branch Number 54, Sooke, British Columbia!

You can find us at 6726 Eustace Road in Sooke. We have a main floor lounge with a dance floor, as well as pool tables, shuffleboard and darts on the sports side with additional seating. We also have five high-definition TVs to watch sporting events in comfort.

Our second floor, with newly renovated floors, holds a large banquet area which can be rented to the public. We have a lift for those who are unable to use our stairs to reach the hall. Our large, upstairs kitchen is used on many occasions and is the main prep area for our Friday steak nights. Our smaller downstairs kitchen is often in use for weekend events such as music jams, karaoke, and our very popular Sunday Brunch.

All money raised from our Saturday meat draw and 50/50 go out into helping various community groups

You don’t have to be military to be a member; anyone over the age of 19 is welcome to join. Check our
